PTO MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
We are excited about our “PTO Membership Contest” this year . In an effort to avoid numerous fundraisers (gift wrap, cookie dough, etc.) throughout the year, we are asking everyone to contribute their “fair share” at the beginning of the year. In order to continue to fund the programs and resources that we do as parents, the PTO budget for 2011-2012 is $180,000. We are asking each family to contribute $150 per child at the beginning of the year. The $150 includes your PTO membership dues, a year book, a wristband to the fall carnival and a school directory. Several schools ask for an up front donation per child without receiving any benefit in return. At Copper Ridge, you join the PTO, contribute your “fair share” and receive a few benefits in return. Provided we reach our membership goal to support a budget of $180,000, we will not have to conduct anymore fundraisers throughout the year. Once the school year begins, you will be hearing more about the contest and prizes for the classrooms and grades that have the most participation.
ESCRIP
e-Scrip can “give” to our school every time you shop at Safeway or other participating stores and restaurants. To use the program, you simply register your existing grocery loyalty cards (Safeway), VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, diners Club, debit/ATM cards and merchant cards such as OfficeMax and Macy’s and use them every time you shop. These merchants have agreed to donate a percentage of your expenditures to your enrolled school or organization. On average, eScrip members who add credit/debit cards to the program earn 50% more for their school. This is “free” money for our school for a small amount of your time online! SCRIP
Scrip is just another word for Gift Cards that are bought through a school-supporting program. It’s easy to do and best of all you get exactly what you pay for and the school still makes money! Simply fill out the scrip order form, return it to school on Monday in your Friday Folder, and your order will be filled.
Gift Cards are not just for gifts, use them where ever you shop; Starbucks, Safeway (also good for Safeway gas), Fry’s, Chipotle’s, etc. We also carry Jo-Ann Fabrics and Michaels for your class party needs, Home Depot for your weekend projects, and many restaurants for great meals for your whole family. FRY’S SAVVY SHOPPER CARDS
This Gift card program rebates Copper Ridge up to 6% of purchases made at Fry’s stores. Use this card every time at Fry’s and earn “free” money for our school. Just think, if 500 families(we have 900+) at Copper Ridge even spent just $100/month at Fry’s with their reloadable card we could earn (500x100x12@6%) $36,000 a year!
You can purchase the Fry’s Savvy Shopper card as a gift to family and friends out of state. The rechargeable card is accepted in all Kroger owned stores throughout the U.S. Fry’s Savvy Shopper Cards must be purchased through the PTO. You can reload the cards up to $500 each time at Fry’s customer service counter.
GROCERY SCHOOL CHARITY PROGRAMS
CRPTO participates in Fry’s “VIP Cool Cash” and Basha’s “Shop & Give” programs where you link your Fry’s and Basha’s card to our school code. Anytime after August 1st you must renew our link yearly to continue the “free” rebate money.
BOX TOPS
Our Box Tops earnings fully fund the playground equipment at recess. Various grocery products carry the Box Top coupons. BoxTopsSheet.jpg Download Form which you can print out here or find at the school office. Help support playground fun with this “free” fundraiser. If you don't have time to attach the labels to the form, simply drop the box top labels in the box in the front office and we will do it for you.
THRIFTMART CLOTHING DONATION
If you have made or plan to make a donation to the Thriftsmart bin The PTO receives $10 per pound. Donation bin can be found outside at south end of school.
